The Elmore String Quartet

The Elmore String Quartet is a remarkable ensemble that has captured the attention of music lovers and critics alike. Winners of the 2023 Kirckman Concert Society Artists award and recipients of the prestigious Tunnell Trust Awards in 2021, this young quartet, founded in 2017 at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK, continues to push the boundaries of chamber music. Following their studies, they held the position of Junior Fellows in Chamber Music at the Royal Northern College of Music from 2021 to 2023. Recently, they earned Third Prize at the 2024 Premio Borciani International String Quartet Competition in Italy. Known for their expressive performances, the Elmore Quartet has graced world-class venues like Wigmore Hall, Conway Hall, and Kings Place, and made multiple recordings for BBC Radio 3. Additionally, their annual Elmore Chamber Music Festival has become a beloved tradition. Currently Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the quartet continues to shine internationally with celebrated collaborations and a growing reputation as one of the most exciting young string quartets of their generation.
